What is ARTIVIST?
A new platform for the young ARTIVIST to have their voice heard in the form of a collaborative zine where art meets activism. The idea is to hold workshops and open submissions for children to creatively express their concerns and have an outlet to channel their climate-anxiety in the form of letters / poems/ short stories. They will then be matched up with artists to create an illustrated anthology too beautiful to ignore and share it with people who can make a difference in the hope of stirring empathy for more immediate action.
When is it happening?
**NOW DELAYED DUE TO COVID-19** Illustrators please express your interest by 31/01/20 to be considered for the collaboration. Schools and Libraries please get in touch ASAP by emailing artivistzine@gmail.com for high quality print files of submissions posters for your children to have their voices heard. The aim is to be ready for print by mid 2020 dependent on submissions / workshops / funding.
